Archaeology Notes

NT27SE 3966 2705 7367

Nothing can now be seen of Hill House, shown on an illustration of the Great Reform Meeting of 1832, and depicted on a map of Holyrood Abbey Sanctuary and Environs dated to 1839. The house stood at the NE end of Salisbury Crags, above the Radical Road, and is drawn as a two-storeyed building with adjoining buildings to either side.
