NO46NW 16 4387 6704

What may be two unroofed shieling-huts and one enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Forfarshire 1865, sheet xviii) and are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972), the enclosure is attached to a wall which extends from Craigmou farmstead (NO46NW 6).

(Name cited as Muirkinks and location as NO 4286 6704). The incomplete remains of two shielings and an enclosure are situated on a gentle slope at an altitude of 365m OD.
