Architecture Notes

F W Deas Architect 1924 for Miss J Murray Reid of Whytock and Reid. It was the first house to be built on Easter Belmont Road. Whytock and Reid fitted the interior including fireplaces, radiator covers and extensive fitted wardrobes. Deas only designed the west conservatory. The house was subdivided into 3 properties but in 2008 was being converted back into a single house. This prompted the Threatened Buildings Survey because the scheme proposed by Lorne Macneal Architects included extensive additions and some demolition.
