(Location cited as NO 5617 9660). Kinminity, site of small village. There were at least 23 small houses and enclosures in the area where the present farm of Kinminity (NO59NE 75) stands, in agricultural ground on a NE-facing spur at an altitude of 160m OD. A copy of a plan (dated 1840) by David walker shows the buildings and the surrounding fields with their alloted names marked on them.
