Archaeology Notes

NT05SW 84 0052 5000.

Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1996) has recorded a circular enclosure on the W flank of Hare Law. The enclosure measures about 10m in diameter, with a possible entrance gap on the W side. Two smaller circular enclosures have previously been recorded on this hillside (NT04NW 29 and NT05SW 20). These enclosures are located amidst cultivation remains and small cairns (NT05SW 14) and a cairn has been recorded approximately 25m to the SSW (NT04NW 24) of this third enclosure.
