Single storey, 3-bay smithy with door to centre flanked by windows. Windows and door to rear. Steeply pitched gables.INTERIOR: forge to outer gable with working hearth in place. Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows. Boarded door. Brick coped skews and brick stack. Red pantiles with 3 sections of clear glazing tiles.
Fronting Peaston Steading, opposite now ruinous former bothy houses and the Grieve's house . A good example of East Lothian vernacular. (Historic Scotland)
