A crofting township comprising one unroofed long building of three compartments, which is approximately 50m in length, seven roofed buildings, four of which are long buildings between 45m and 60m in length, and three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Island of Tiree etc 1882, sheet lxv). Two unroofed, six roofed buildings and six enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1977).
