Tavern, formerly a school, and now in a dilapidated state. Style of John Smith, dated 1833. Interesting variation on a standard Palladian layout with a shallow-pitched roof. Entrances to either side in the form of classical porches. Single storey rubble-built central block with broad eaves and a pediment with R-Doric porches to connect with two-storey wings. Two advance wings, three windows, centred advanced and pedimented. 'Religioni et Bonis Moribus' at centre frieze.
