Church built by A Marshall Mackenzie in 1883. Early English; nave and chancel with bellcote at junction. Three tall windows at the W gable were modelled on the 13th century chapel of Kildrummy Castle, although the stained glass is modern, being completed by William Wilson in 1969. The bell is a recast of the St Nicholas church bell which was destroyed in a fire in 1874.

NMRS, MS/712/83.
