(NH 728 984) At the lower end of the enclosed park to the E of Dalnamain, in Strath Carnaig, is a long low heap of stones, more or less S-shaped in form. The elevation of the field is but little above that of the river; the general direction of the constructions is the same as that of the river. It seems to be a natural deposit of boulders and gravel, supplemented with stones from the field. The only other regular S-shaped construction noticed are in Strathnaver on a haugh beside the Carnachaidh Burn (NC75SW 10).
The situation is almost similar, as also the relative general directions of the constructions parallel with that of the stream.
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.
NH 7282 9849. This grass covered mound would appear to be a natural bank plus stones cleared from the field. There is a similar bank much less prominent just outside the SW corner of the park.

As described by previous OS field investigator.
