NH78NW 15 c. 736 890

For Skibo Castle (NH 73624 89052) and associated buildings, see NH78NW 13.00.

A stone cist, containing fragments of a human skeleton in a crouched position, was found about 1903 by workmen excavating a sand-pit near Skilbo Castle. The bones were later placed in a coffin and buried in the churchyard.
