Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has identified a series of cropmarks, including those of a possible sub-circular ditched enclosure, scattered across a field immediately to the E of Bryland farmsteading. The N and E sides of the enclosure are visible, and it measures approximately 65m in diameter. A number of indeterminate marks are visible within the enclosure, and 110m to the SSE. Two linear cropmarks (NT14SW 48) run across the N end of this field, immediately to the NNW of the possible enclosure.
