There are at least three turf-banked subrectangular shieling-huts on a terrace on the E side of the valley of the Crunie Burn. The central hut (MENS97 148) of the three measures 5m from N to S by 2.6m transversely within a turf bank spread to 0.8m in thickness and 0.2m in height. The other two (MENS97 147, 149) are poorly defined and measure up to 6.2m by 3.1m overall.
