Standing Building Recording (19 February 2014 - 22 April 2014)

A programme of Historic Building Recording of the former railway office (NT16NE 92) of the Balerno branch line was required by Mr William Tanner in respect of the development to the historic structure and land located at 482-484 Lanark Road West, Balerno (Planning Ref: 09/00475/FUL) (NGR: NT 1644 6702). The archaeological works were designed to create a competent record of the surviving elements of the former railway office associated with the branch line of the Caledonian Railway.
