Archaeology Notes

NT57NE 105 centred NT 59629 77420

An enclosure and a possible building have been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1995), approximately 150m N of Phantassie farmsteading (NT57NE 39). The enclosure (NT c.5955 7745) is rectangular in shape and measures about 25m N-S by 20m transversely. The possible building (NT c.5961 7742) is L-shaped and measures about 25m N-S by 10m and 25m E-W by 10m tranversely.
