Aerial Photographic Interpretation (9 June 1999)

NN81NE 84 8880 1981

Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has revealed the cropmarks of a possible four-poster and pits amidst a group of cropmarks on a broad terrace on the E bank of the Pow Water 360m E of Dornock Lodge. The four-poster is visible a square setting 6m across. It is situated between the cropmarks of a palisaded settlement (NN81NE 58) and a possible enclosed settlement (NN81NE 57).
