Archaeology Notes

NN82SE 98 8825 2001

This intermediate station on the Gleneagles - Lochearnhead - Balquhidder branch line of the former Celedonian Rly was opened (as Crieff Junction Station) on 14 March 1856. It was closed on 1 January 1917, reopened on 1 January 1919, and finally closed to regular passenger traffic on 6 July 1964.
