HU43NE 14.03 47102 38939, 47160 38992 and 47174 39125

The searchlight battery consists of three emplacements, two to the S of the main group of buildings and one to the N. All are built of concrete and two at the extermitities of the site are to the same design. The third emplacement (HU 47160 38992), classified as a reserve in Public Record Office files (WO 192/271), is to a different design providing more protection for the searchlight and crew.
