Archaeological Evaluation (25 October 2022)
NT 27447 75728 An evaluation was undertaken, on 25 October 2022, prior to development of land at the Merith House Hotel, 2–3 Hermitage Place, Leith. The work revealed a deposit of made ground 1.2m in depth. This overlaid an alluvial deposit of compact sand.
No archaeologically significant features or finds were observed.
