Archaeology Notes

NH74SE 14 7575 4459.

There is a small cupmarked stone at the side of the field between the northernmost cairn on the plain of Clava and the river. It has one quite distinct cup.

W Jolly 1882.

This stone was no located during field investigation. Three stones "from Clava" presented by Mr Jolly are in Inverness Museum but they don't appear to fit the description above.

Visited by OS (W D J) 26 April 1962.
