Archaeology Notes

NG91NW 9 9390 1885

Site recorded during an archaeological and historical assessment of the NTS Kintail and West Affric Estate. This has incorporated Jonathan Wordsworth's survey results of 1994 for the West Affric part of the estate.

NG 9390 1885 An ill-defined circular enclosure, c 10m in diameter, may be the remains of a former roundhouse. On the terrace immediately to the SE are several clearance cairns up to c 5m in diameter and c 1m high.
