The former meteorological office for RAF Scatsta and Sella Ness is situated to the NE of the sharp bend in the road at Graven.
The rectangular hut measures 10.1m by 5.3m NW - SE overall and is built of brick and breeze blocks. The walls are buttressed throughout and the roofing material has been removed to reveal the sarking. Windows have been cut through both elevations and the gable ends. Some of the metal window frames survive.
The entrance is in the SW-facing elevation, which is accessed via a concrete path.
