Archaeology Notes

NH73NW 16 centred 748 388.

Centred at NH 748 388 on a SW-facing slope is an area of stone clearance heaps with occasional lynchets forming a field system with cultivation plots measuring from c. 20.0m by c. 15.0m to c. 40.0m by c. 30.0m. The W part is mutilated by a railway and forestry ploughing. No hut circles are evident.
