Halbeath Colliery is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife and Kinross 1856, sheet 35) comprising Albert Pit, Queen Pit, Back Row and Long Row. Within the area of the colliery a number of coal pits, shafts and refuse heaps are shown along with structures which are annotated engine houses, boilers house, smithy and chimney.
Only Long Row is shown on the current chart copy of the OS 1:10000 map (1990).
