Centred at NH 669 874 on a generally N-facing slope are two stone-walled huts (A and B).
Hut 'A' set into a knoll, is visible mainly as a platform, c.9.5m in diameter, bounded by stony build up in the NE, and back scarp in the SW. The entrance is not evident. Immediately outside the hut in the SW is a modern quarry hole.
'B' at the base of a N-facing slope, is overgrown. It is circular measuring c.6.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to c.2.0m all round. The entrance cannot be seen.
Two or three stone clearance heaps in the vicinity of the huts are probably from contemporary cultivation plots.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (I S S), 2 October 1973.
