A large green mound, 70ft. by 110ft., with stones showing here and there and the top showing indentations. Rough stone implements and burnt stones found on the mound are suggestive of Iron Age occupation.

At HU 5720 9982 is a turf-covered disturbed area of ground from which protrude a number of earth-fast stones, forming no intelligent pattern, and a quantity of small stones. There is obviously some artificial structure concealed here but it is impossible to determine its nature.
