Archaeology Notes

(Location cited as NH 610 663). Culcairn Mills, Evanton, early 19th century. A two- and three-storey mill on an L plan, with a fine kiln-vent. Now falling into ruin, and largely gutted. One pair of stones and its dive are still in position. At one time, housed corn, saw and carding mills.

J R Hume 1977.
