Watching Brief (16 May 2014)
NT 260 745 A watching brief was carried out on 16 May 2014 during ground-breaking work associated with an extension to the Khushis Restaurant, South Gayfield Lane. The inspection recorded several foundation trenches containing a made ground overlying a sterile deposit of redeposited clay and crushed sandstone. No finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded.
