Crosshouse Station [NAT]

This station was situated at the junction of the Irvine - Crosshouse and Dalry Junction - Kilmarnock lines of the former Glasgow and South Western Rly. It was opened (as Busby Station) by the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Rly on 4 April 1843 and closed on 15 April 1850. It was re-opened as Crosshouse Station on 1 September 1872 and closed to regular passenger traffic on 18 April 1966.
