NS34NW 22 3425 4843

This intermediate station on the Giffen-Kilwinning portion of the Barrhead-Ardrossan line of the former Caledonian Railway was opened by the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Rly on 3 September 1888. It closed on 1 January 1917 and reopened on 2 March 1919 before finally closing to regular passenger traffic on 4 July 1932.
