This byre is undergoing survey as part of the Scottish Farm Buildings Survey.

Information from RCAHMS (GPS), 11 November 1998.

This byre was formerly a house, with the chimney at one end a later addition. It is built of pointed drystone rubble and has a hipped and thatched roof. There is a window either side of the central door and a central window at the rear. When visited in 1998 the building was derelict.
