Archaeology Notes

NG61SE 31 centred on 679 111

A discontinuous bank, running NW from the foot of Creag na Ba down to and along the Allt na Beiste, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of 73ha of land on the S side of Camascross (NG61SE 28) by Headland Archaeology, 12 March 1998 (NMRS MS 899/76, no.2). The lower section is turf-built but nearer the crag stone has been used. The bank survives to 0.4m in height.
