Watching Brief (30 November 2020 - 5 February 2021)
NK 08799 53876 A watching brief was carried out prior to the installation of a new 132/11kV substation and associated infrastructure W of the St Fergus Gas Plant, approximately one mile NW of St Fergus. Fieldwork was carried out between 30 November 2020 and 5 February 2021. No archaeological features were identified during the works and artefacts recovered from the topsoil were minimal in number and comprised a mix of post- medieval pottery sherds, and a small number struck flint artefacts.
