Desk Based Assessment (1 June 2008 - 14 May 2010)

Cultural Heritage assessment for the proposed Smeaton Bing Re-cycling Facility development. The assessment formed part of an Environmental Statement, submitted in 2010. The Cultural Heritage assessment identifed all cultural heritage features within the study area, as well as key external receptors within 1km of the proposed development, and assessed the impact on these features by the new development. An evaluation and photographic survey were also carried out on and around Smeaton Bing.
