Archaeology Notes

NC12NW 25 1022 2942

A large subcircular enclosure, lying to the S of Loch Poll, was recorded by Headland Archaeology during a pre-afforestation survey (NMRS MS 899/63, no.5). It measures 30.5m by 33.5m within a turf-and-stone bank which is up to 1.4m wide and 0.8m high.

Site recorded during a short-notice pre-afforestation survey undertaken of 2 sqkm of land at Cona Chreag, on the Stoer Common Grazings near Drumbeg.
