The catalogue describes and illustrates some of the features of the No 161 machine 'recently installed at the well known Mill of Guard Bridge Paper Co Ltd, Fife , Scotland designed with the co-operation of the Mill Staff especially for the economical production of the highest quality papers...'

To facilitate wire changing, the breast and guide rolls area arranged to be carried by removable light alloy brackets on top of the couch roll housing, these being cantilevered while the new wire is placed in position and the breast roll returned to its orginal position by the overhead crane.
