A township, comprising thirty-three roofed buildings, at least three of which are annotated as ruins, forty-three unroofed buildings (see NB35SE 40.01, .02), forty enclosures and some lengths of head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). To the SE is an extensive system of head-dykes (NB45SW 31) which may be partly associated with this crofting township.

A crofting township comprising sixty-two roofed, twenty-two unroofed buildings, enclosures and a field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
