Harlaw Monument, 1914, William Kelly. Has the strength necessary for this windswept site, previously a desolate, blood-boltered moor (W D Simpson). A battered hexagon of dark granite rubble, 40ft tall, built by the successors of Provost Davidson, Aberdeen Town Council.
