Braeside

This late-19th-century/early-20th-century farmstead has a U-shaped plan and comprises a byre, a cobbled stable and a single-bay cart shed, which share a loft above, a barn with threshing-machine shaft, a straw store, a turnip house, a later shed and a timber washhouse which links the farmhouse to the other buildings. There is also a detached timber calf box. The farmstead is constructed of coursed granite and has slate roofs. When visited in 2000 it was derelict.
