(NH 5240 6134) Standing Stone {NR}

OS 6" map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., (1907)

This stone stood 4' 6" high, 3' 3" broad by 1' 4" thick.

Name Book 1876.

There is now no trace of this stone in the area, which falls in land which has been under the plough for several years. The present owner of the croft, who has farmed the land for 37 years, cannot remember ever having seen or heard of such a stone.

No stone could be found at the point marked, east of Heights of Brae, and no information about one could be obtained.
