(Location cited as NS 298 833). Helensburgh (upper) Station, opened 1894 by the West Highland Rly. A standard WHR island-platform station, with brick and wooden 1-storey building, unusually approached from a road overbridge.

This intermediate station on the Glasgow (Queen St) - Fort William line of the (former) North British Rly (the 'West Highland Line') was opened on 7 August 1894 by the West Highland Rly. It remains in regular use by passenger traffic.
