Desk Based Assessment (22 March 2021)

The village of Burrelton was established in 1812 by Peter Burrel, the laird of Stobhall, on which estate the new village was built (Gifford 2007, 253). The village was laid out to either side of the Perth to Aberdeen turnpike road (High Street), with Fenwick Street and Adam Street running roughly parallel to the east and west respectively.
