(Location cited as NN 495 073). Trossachs Pier, late 19th century. A floating pier consisting of a riveted tank with wooden rubbing-strakes, linked to the shore by a hinged plate-girder span. This unusual construction was necessitated by the use of Loch Katrine as a reservoir. There is a rustic wooden covered way leading to the road.
