Archaeology Notes

NO64NE 68.01 674 487

The walled garden has been recorded on aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1994) with the present day Anniston House (NO64NE 68.03) a later addition to the NW side. The walled garden is depicted as part of the Anniston estate, separate from the 18th Century house, on the Ist edition OS 6 - inch map (Forfarshire, 1865, sheet XL).
