Archaeology Notes

NH33SW 22 c.3405 3240

On the SE slopes of Mullach an Tuir, there is a drystone structure measuring 5m by 3m, which was recorded during the course of an afforestation survey by J Wordsworth (NMRS MS 961/11 no.12). The structure stands up to 0.75m in height and is probably round-ended. Some 12m to the SE lying in a hollow, there is another drystone building which measures 5m by 3m with walls preserved up to 1m in height.
