This section of the workings, which represents the former Bunzion Quarry, consists of an extensive spread of spoil heaps (many reworked) a number of clamp-kilns (NO 3439 0854 see NO30NW 113.07) and a series of tramways. The works associated with the quarry are described under NO30NW 113.05.

The OS Name Book notes that Bunzion Lime Works was 'an extensive lime works situated between the farms of Upper Bunzion and Lower Bunzion... property of the Earl of Glasgow'. (ONB 1856)
