Field Visit (November 1996 - May 1997)

NO30NW 113.03 Centred 3370 0800

Two clamp-kilns are situated in an uncultivated area immediately S of the track which leads to Bunzion farmsteading. Some 70m to the S (NO 3371 0794) there is a single clamp-kiln with a possible further kiln 12m to the E. Immediately to the S, is a building measuring approximately 30m N-S by 15m transversely (externally).

A further group of clamp-kilns lies at NO 3346 0788 and a possible single kiln at NO 3345 0792. A small structure, possibly a building, measuring approximately 20m by 10m externally was noted to the W (NO 3335 0788).
