Archaeology Notes

No cairn is identified in the area. There is a scatter of stones at NH 4557 4563, but this is almost certainly stone clearance associated with the hut circles and field system described on NH44NE 10.

Tighnaleac 2 NH 456 456 NH44NE

A mutilated cairn measuring about 11 m in diameter is situated on the summit of a knoll about 160m N of cairn NH44NE 11. This cairn, and NH44NE 11 both fall within the settlement and field system described on NH44NE 10.
