A crofting township comprising nine roofed, one partially roofed, four unroofed buildings, four enclosures and what may be a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, North Uist 1882, sheet xxxix). Twelve roofed, five unroofed buildings and an enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
