NC 344 046: Touskerry - depopulation noted from W Roy's (W Roy 1747-9) survey of 1747.

One roofless hut was noted within the extents of Touskerry, during a pre-afforestation survey at Caplich. The hut, which is situated at NC c.3444 0462, measures 4.5m in length by 3m over c.0.7m wide walls which are c.0.2m high. Faint traces of a turf- and boulder-built dyke extend SW towards the track from the SW corner of the structure.
The current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1967) shows a roofed structure at NC c.3444 0462.
